Coming from Aternos

No more queues. No more “server stopped.”

Aternos is free because your server shares their hardware — so it sleeps when empty and you wait in a queue to start it. NodeMesh runs on a machine you already have, so it's always-on and the performance is yours.

Aternos is a genuinely great way to get a free Minecraft server with zero hardware of your own. The trade-off is control: free servers idle out when the last player leaves, starting one can mean waiting in a queue, and you're sharing resources you don't manage.

NodeMesh takes the opposite approach — you bring a host (a spare PC, a home server, a VPS) and NodeMesh turns it into an always-on game server with a full panel. No queue, no idle shutdown, full use of the hardware, and more games than just Minecraft.

🤝 When Aternos is the better choice

If you don't have any machine to run a server on, Aternos is hard to beat — it's free and needs nothing from you but patience. NodeMesh assumes you've got a host to bring; in exchange you get always-on uptime, no queues, and full control.

Bring your host. We'll handle the rest.

Free during beta — install the agent on hardware you already have.
