Conan Exiles is the heaviest server we offer, so it wants a PC with real memory to spare — see the requirements below before you start one. NodeMesh installs the dedicated server on Windows or Linux, keeps it running and relays your friends' connections, so nothing needs opening on your router. On a real Windows PC we watched it install and reach a ready state; getting it to stay up needed raising our memory floor twice after real crashes, and that new floor hasn't run long enough yet for us to call it settled. Conan Exiles is in Beta on NodeMesh.
Free on your own PC — one host, no time limit.
Sign up, then paste one command from your dashboard on the PC that will run the server — PowerShell on Windows, a terminal on Linux. The agent installs as a service and pairs with your account.
Choose the game in the panel. NodeMesh downloads the dedicated server, sets it up and starts it, and you watch every step in the live console.
Switch on the traffic relay for the server and the panel gives you a public address. Send it to your friends: their traffic goes through the relay to your PC, so you never open a port on your router.
The memory figures are for the game server alone. If you also play on the same PC, the game itself needs its own memory on top.
In Conan Exiles, open the multiplayer menu, choose Direct Connect and paste the address the panel gives you, plus the password if you set one. Only the game port goes through NodeMesh's relay, so this works without opening anything on your router — Conan's own official server browser isn't wired up yet, so Direct Connect is the way in for now.
Conan Exiles installs from the same Steam app on Windows and Linux, so NodeMesh picks whichever matches your host. Most day-to-day balance — day/night length, harvest and XP rates, raid hours — lives in the game's own in-game Admin Panel once you're logged in, not in a file NodeMesh edits; the Config tab covers server identity, passwords, nudity level, PvP and RCON instead. RCON is switched on with a random password from the moment your server exists, so it's never left open. This game needs more memory than anything else we offer: our requirements below reflect two real out-of-memory crashes we hit at lower floors, and NodeMesh won't create a server below the current minimum. There's no Steam Workshop mod support yet, and whether RCON can force a world save before Stop is still an open question, so treat a Stop as a hard kill for now.
One host — your own PC — is free with no time limit, for up to 5 game servers: the web panel and console, the config editor, the mod manager, auto-restart on crash and the traffic relay. Extra hosts cost credits.
See pricing →Beta: this game runs on NodeMesh today, but our full hardware test of it is not finished yet. We would rather say so than call it stable.
More than any other game we offer, by a wide margin — see the requirements above. We raised that floor twice after real out-of-memory crashes on our own test hardware, and NodeMesh refuses to create a server below it.
Both. Conan Exiles now ships a native Linux server alongside the Windows one under the same Steam app, and NodeMesh installs whichever matches your host, no Steam login stored on your PC.
Not yet. Only the game port is relayed for a direct connection — share the address from the panel and have your friends use Direct Connect rather than searching the in-game browser.
Yes, for one host. Running game servers on your own PC is free with no time limit — up to 5 servers, traffic relay included. You only pay, in credits, if you add more hosts.
On a real Windows PC, install and boot both worked — but the server needed more memory than our original numbers gave it, and we're not yet confident the raised floor holds up over a longer session, so the Beta label stays until we're sure.
